Sale of The Doctors Clinic Group Ltd to Spire Healthcare Group Plc.

Oakfield Capital Partners has announced that it has completed the sale of its portfolio company The Doctors Clinic Group to Spire Healthcare Group Plc.
Oakfield Capital’s funds first invested in The Doctors Clinic Group in 2015. Since that time, the business has transformed organically from a consumer led face-to-face GP business in London to a multi-channel, nationwide business operating across consumer and B2B markets. Oakfield also provided capital for the acquisition of two Occupational Health businesses.
Michael Patton, Partner at Oakfield Capital and outgoing non-executive Chairman of the company, commented, ‘I am proud of the growth in The Doctors Clinic Group during our investment period, and that it has played a significant role in meeting the huge consumer demand for instant access to healthcare in the UK.
